I am a son of the age of technology. I remember the days before technology became such a big part of our lives, as it is today:

  • When no one carried a cell phone.
  • When no one owned a personal computer.
  • When the Internet was simply a vast network of bits of information that was primarily used by the military and in academic circles, and not among the general public.

I also remember the excitement when these new technological breakthroughs became available to the average consumer. They represented a hope for a better life, a life of good, not evil.

I am defining “technology” here as computer or digital technology, with the advent of the PC (personal computer) in the early 1980s, along with the software to run these computers.

That’s when I started using and developing the technology myself, back in the mid 1980s. I owned one of the first laptops to hit the market, as well as one of the first “multi-media” PCs.

I used the first commercial networks that evolved before the Internet moved out of the military and academic institutions to the consumer market, and I had accounts with and was using these private commercial networks such as Prodigy, and AOL (America Online), before they were absorbed into the Internet.

I was actually doing online banking in Chicago in the mid 1980s with Prodigy, long before the banks were even connected to the Internet.

I taught English at a university in Saudi Arabia in the early to mid 1990s, and had my first exposure to the Internet then using the university’s Linux system and using services such as listserv, bitnet, telnet, etc.

I taught myself computer programming, and developed computer programs to teach English as a foreign language while teaching and working in Saudi Arabia during this time, and had some of my work published in academic journals, as I combined my knowledge of pedagogy with the new emerging technology.

The work I did back then would be called “artificial intelligence” today, because the lessons I created were adaptive, and took different paths depending on the input of the students, to match their knowledge instead of being a one-size-fits-all program.

Returning to the U.S. in the late 1990s I became a Microsoft Certified trainer, and also certified in many of the new Microsoft software products after Windows 95 and Windows NT were developed. The excitement over these new products was infectious, as we imagined the possibilities they presented for more efficient networking, productivity, and just overall enhancing our way of life.

“Uncle Bill” was a hero back then, and his company, Microsoft, provided many new jobs and opportunities, not just for the corporate elite, but for the small people too. For those of us involved in technology back then, Bill Gates was like a hero.

I also remember the excitement of having so much data available via the Internet, which leveled the playing field for study and academics, where one no longer needed access to the best libraries at the top schools in order to gain access to vast amounts of educational material.

It was a way to level the playing field and allow anyone who had the curiosity to learn and expand their mind without the propaganda of mass media controlled by large corporations, to self-direct their own destiny and reach heights that previously were only available to the rich and privileged.

Search engines were developed to navigate through this vast amount of information, and then in the late 1980s two college students from Stanford University gave the world a wonderful gift by allowing anyone with a PC and access to the Internet the ability to search for almost anything, instantaneously.

I was there, and oh how I can remember the excitement! The possibilities! There were no longer limits placed on ideas and dreams.

We all had a hope for a better future, a way to “level the playing field” so that the corporate elites could no longer cast their spell over us, if we chose to not participate.

The company that formed around these two students, Google, did things that were never done before, and even transformed the work place to make it more friendly than the cold, corporate prison holes that most were forced to work out of as they served the corporate elite.

The guys at Google were on our side. We trusted them. Their motto, back then, was “Don’t Be Evil.”

Then along came Amazon.com in the late 1990s, just before we all became concerned about Y2K.

I could remember finding books on just about ANYTHING on Amazon.com, and I became an affiliate, selling books on the simple life, what would be known today as “the Prepper” lifestyle, and put into practice what I was learning and teaching others regarding what we were seeing were the potential pitfalls of technology, and the fragile systems we had created by allowing corporate America take over our way of life.

I took my family to a rural area in the Philippines, where we could still survive if the technology crashed, and we all looked to Amazon.com to supply the books and old-school “technology” knowledge we would need if that happened. Sitting on a mountain in a remote area of the Philippines with my computer connected to the Internet through a simple dial-up connection, I could order the books and have them delivered to me in the Philippines.

It was AMAZING!

This was MY generation. We were the children of the parents who came out of the age of WWII and the Great Depression. Our parents did not go through those hardships, but were born of the parents who did, and those values carried over into our own up-bringing.

And we BELIEVED in the technology. We believed it could be the vehicle to a better world, to a better way of life, that empowered the masses and gave us equal footing with the Corporate dictators who wanted to rule our lives.

This generation produced Rock ‘n Roll, the Hippie movement, and a general age of rebellious young people who were determined to not let the corporate elites control our future.

Some, such as the students at Kent State, in Ohio, gave up their lives for this cause, knowing that we were being drafted to fight the rich man’s wars.

It was revolutionary. And we believed that with the new technology nothing could stop us.

And then along came Facebook in the early 2000s, the ultimate social media network that brought us all back together!

Suddenly, we were all communicating with people from our past, reconnecting and catching up on old times, which before the technology of social media would probably never have happened, and we would never had known what became of these people from our past, except at 5-year and 10-year interval class reunions, if we even had time to attend those.

Suddenly we were able to combine our interests and knowledge into groups and pages, all working together for a common goal. Facebook literally changed our world, and mostly for the better, at least for my generation as we were in the middle of our careers and far too busy to get addicted to things like social media.

But then something happened. Something that has happened throughout the history of the human race.

The great wealth that this technology brought, even after the dot.com bust, thoroughly corrupted my generation.

Google became “Alphabet” and their motto went from “Don’t Be Evil” to “Do the Right Thing.” (Source.)

The “right thing,” unfortunately, was being defined by corporations and bankers along with their venture capitalists who looked out for their own interests, and the interests of their shareholders, and not necessarily the interests of the consumers.

The sheer amount of data they were accumulating on their users through their technology quickly drew the attention of the military industrialists who then began recruiting many of them to work with the Pentagon, the CIA, the FBI, the NSA, etc.

What Does the Future Hold? A New Technocratic World Order, or the Fulfillment of Prophecies over 2000 Years Old Regarding a Messianic New World Order?

The techno-prophecies of the past several decades predicting that technology would produce higher “life” forms through Artificial Intelligence have completely failed, as I recently documented. See:

The 75-Year History of Failures with “Artificial Intelligence” and $BILLIONS Lost Investing in Science Fiction for the Real World

And yet these prophecies continue today, with entities like the World Economic Forum predicting that the “Fourth Industrial” revolution is upon us, and the age of “Transhumanism.”

But the reality is that the technology is failing, not advancing.

As we approach the end of the second month of 2023, 118,726 employees from Big Tech have already been laid off, following 161,061 layoffs in 2022, mostly in the second half of the year. (Source.)

The entire world economy is on the brink of collapse, and the banking industry is already bracing itself for bank runs, and the implementation of “bail ins” because there will be no “bail outs” this time, as happened in 2008.

Are FDIC Bankers Preparing for Bank Runs in the U.S.?

European Central Bank Preparing for Bail Ins & Banking Collapse According to Whistleblower

We got a glimpse of this last year with the cryptocurrency exchanges that collapsed before depositors could withdraw their funds, but that is nothing compared to what will happen when the FDIC-insured mega banks start to fail, as we are still in the early phases of World War 3, with Russia and NATO preparing to expand the conflict in Ukraine, and China choosing sides against the U.S.

WW III Update: China and Russia Join Forces to Fight Back Against the U.S.

Techno-prophecies of a Technocratic New World Order run by robots and AI are pure insanity at this point, as the immediate future is going to be consumed with supply chain disruptions where it is going to be difficult to service the existing technology, as well as potential energy shortages and massive inflation.

People are going to be more concerned about things like being able to fix their electric vehicles, or affording the electricity to power them, rather than worrying about robots and AI replacing them.

And if a full blown kinetic war breaks out, the most pressing concern may be simply how to stay alive, and where to find one’s next meal.

There is almost nobody still alive in the U.S. today who went through WW II and the Great Depression, and even then, the war was “over there” in Europe, and the Pacific, and not in the heartland of the U.S.

Massive cyber attacks, power grid failures, and supply chain disruptions could very well be in our not-too-distant future, or even worse. Look at what the people in Ohio near East Palestine are currently suffering through, and we still do not know the full scope of that disaster.

For those who study the Bible, however, none of this is a surprise, as such events have been prophesied about for over 2000 years now.

The Bible clearly teaches that the world is wearing out, and that at some point the current physical world will be burned up and destroyed, and a new one will be created with Jesus Christ ruling in a Messianic New World Order.

This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you; that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior: knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

For this they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God; by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.

But the heavens that now exist, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness, looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:1-13)

It’s time to choose sides, if you have not already done so.

Which side is more believable?

The technocrats’ side that keeps making techno-prophecies about how the technology is going to evolve and take over the world replacing human beings, or the side that has been written about in the Scriptures for over 2000 years, that the earth is going to be destroyed and that a new one is going to be created, ruled by Jesus Christ?

An Invitation to Do Good, and Join the Winning Side

The technology, in and of itself, is not evil. It is neutral. It can be used for good, or it can be used for evil.

I have used it for good for over 2 decades now, by fighting against the corporate Globalists, supplying an alternative to the poisonous commodity food system of Big Food through my ecommerce store, and in the process supplying jobs for many people who take the time to produce food the right way, with a decentralized system of small-scale producers.

The technology allows me to deliver Virgin Coconut Oil produced by small-scale farmers in the Philippines, or high quality meats from grass-fed and pastured animals raised by Amish, directly to your door.

I have had the Globalists attack me through government agencies like the FDA and the IRS, and by the grace of God, we have prevailed.

I have also had my share of venture capitalists come knocking and trying to buy me out, wanting to take my brand and scale it to the next level.

But I have resisted them also, because their values were not the same as mine, and I have continued to serve my customers, and not the interests of corporate America.

And now I invite other technologists to join the battle in doing good, not evil, by fighting against the Globalists who are trying to implement their version of a New World Order which leads to tyranny, expressed as either fascism or communism, two heads of the same coin that end up with a dictatorial society of slavery.

This is not an invitation to join a political party or a religion. I am 100% anti-political and anti-religious, and you should be also.

But I am pro-Bible, as the ancient Scriptures provide truth that is applicable and available to anyone today, regardless of classes, whether religious, political, economic, racial, gender, or any other classifications that only divide us, not unite us.

Some of the greatest revolutions have occurred in human history when the masses were able to start reading the Scriptures for themselves, in their own languages, rather than be dependent upon religious “experts” to interpret the Bible for them.

There is a lot of corruption in English language versions of the Bible, but the technology today allows virtually anyone to study the original languages of the manuscripts to determine the truth. For more on this, see:

Should You Read the Ancient Bible? Is The Bible Accurate or Corrupted?

As someone who has been trained in linguistics, I can appreciate the difficulties in trying to render an accurate translation of something written in a different, and older, language.

One of my favorite English translations of the Bible in recent times is the World English Bible (WEB), translated with the help of technology.

It isn’t perfect, and there are some words and passages I do not agree with in their translation, but it has the advantage of being an open source translation with no copyright, unlike most other English translations where the copyright is owned by major publishers, who have to cater to Corporate Christianity, and all the politics associated with it, since they are the main market for their translations.

Our short existence in this life is a constant battle between good and evil, and the majority side has always been the evil side. If you want to stand for truth, and do good, you will always be on the minority side.

Jesus said:

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

I truly believe that God is going to start calling people out of the evil side of technology, to fight for truth and justice in the Kingdom of God, and using the technology for good.

And when you feel that calling, start reading and studying the Bible, which is your guide and training manual.

Pray and ask God for wisdom, because he is standing by to supply it to you, if you simply ask.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-11)
